What is the best shampoo, conditioner and hair oil for black hair?

Trying to achieve length what's da best solution? What is the best shampoo, conditioner and hair oil for black hair?
Keeping your hair healthy and from breaking off is what helps you achieve length. Everyone's hair is different so what works for one person might not work for you. If you hang around hair forums then you'll definitely find this to be true. My hair likes extra virgin olive oil (cold pressed) and pure coconut oil. I usually use oil to seal in my moisture, but I sometimes put coconut oil my hair at night to keep it from becoming very dry and I might add some to my hair before a warm shower and this makes my hair look nicer when it dries. I'm natural, btw.

I'd say the best shampoos and conditioners are natural and organic. They don't contain harsh ingredients like regular hair products contain, and they don't dry out your hair. I use Wen and Giovanni hair care products. Giovanni is certified organic and Wen is all natural. Another I have not tried but might is Yes to Carrots, which is 96-98% organic depending on the product and is also a certified organic line. Dr. Bonners is a 100% organic hair and skin care line. All of these can be found at some Walgreens and health foods stores, among other places.

when I was relaxed I used Dove because I liked their light-weight formula.

My hair isn't breaking off, which means I'm holding on to all my length and growth and my hair is getting longer, but it's because I'm knowledgeable about proper hair care and don't abuse my hair, which causes damage and breakage. The only products I use that I can say has actually improved the health of my hair is my Nexxus Emergency protein treatment (makes hair stronger), doing hot oils with extra virgin olive oil (stronger hair and repairs damage), and my Wen cleansing conditioner (doesn't dry out my hair and gets it very clean). Everything else I use just makes my hair look good, but does not improve the actual health of my hair.

You just have to keep experimenting with different products until you find the ones that work best for you. What is the best shampoo, conditioner and hair oil for black hair?

Hi,

KREML hair tonic and KREML shampoo. It ';glamor bathes'; your hair to a vision of beauty. It has ingredients found in no other products. Powers models in the past have all recommended KREML shampoo. It brings a lustrous shine on each individual strand of hair while removing dirt and dandruff from your hair. KREML gives a radiance to your hair while not drying your hair or scalp. Ask for KREML when you shop or ask for an application of KREML from your barber at your next visit.

I have REALLY thick hair and i use Garnier Fructis Moisture Works. I love it!! It makes my hair sooo soft, shiny, and silky!

Make sure you use shampoo and conditioner. What is the best shampoo for thick hair?
I'd recommend TRESemme for dry or damaged hair. It has a lot of moisture in it so it really moisturizes well.
Pantene
If it's flaky and dry, try Selsun Blue
I recon that garniar fructus is the best.

What's the best shampoo, conditioner, and other products for dry hair?

-MeWhat is the best shampoo and conditioner for dry hair?
Sebastian makes a moisturizing conditioner which is amazing. It is a bit costly but worth every penny. Keeps my curls gorgeous even on humid days. They make a styling product called ';whipped cream'; which is really amazing and keeps it moist. Be sure you are getting regular hair cuts too. Keeping it trimmed stops it from unraveling and in the end makes it grow better.

If Sebastian is out of your price range, Neutrogena makes a good shampoo and conditioner.
Loreal smooth conditioner (orange bottle)

Loreal royal jelly conditioner (yellow bottle)

Those work wonders. Let it sit on your hair a while, while you're in the shower, then rinse.

Ted Gibson for dry hair is also good.

Garnier is pretty good too.

And Dove.

I recommend trying the Loreal ones though :)

Also, the Loreal Hi- Gloss shampoo and conditioner in the red bottle is amazing
Trust me the perfect shampoo and conditioner 4 your hair is herbal essences dangerously straight- makes your hair silky shiny and your hair will change from dry to silky so yeah... go online and cheack it you will be very interested go google and type herbal essences and click the first one ta daaaa oh and have i mentioned herbal essences ( dangerously straight was the first best shampoo and conditioner in 2008. well i dont no whats number 1 now. lol hope this helps
Dove, and Aveeno. I got a free sample of both and i love them i have tried both and really like them.

  • What is the best shampoo and conditioner for your hair?

Hi what I mean is which is most healthiest for your hair. I have heard that pantene and head and shoulders coat your hair and our therefore not very healthy for the hair. Also which intensive conditioner is best. What is best - herbal essences or garnier fructis? ThankyouWhat is the best shampoo and conditioner for your hair?
For intensive conditioner try TRESemme for dry hair. It makes your hair soo soft. My mom like fried her hair after having japanese straightening and nothing would work, but this brought her hair back to normal. What is the best shampoo and conditioner for your hair?
    Pantene
Forget the mass market cheap stuff. Try MOP or Aveda - they are organic and not full of junk. Expensive, but worth it.
I guess that is dependent on the texture and condition of your hair? See a beautician/hair stylist for some professional help.
i'd say pantene and garnier fructrise

are a good line of products

st.ives also is a good one
Garnier Fructis is a pretty good product but I find that Dove shampoo and intense conditioner replenishes my hair much more leaving it soft silky and shiny.
I like to use head and shoulders two in one because it smells good and it is quick and simple. For herbal essences I use Body Envy because I think that it smells the best of the rest.
    Treseme

    or

    Aussie
i like john freida frizz ease for very dry/course hair its great for my hair
I like the mud shampoo etc comes from the Dead Sea range found on ebay
it varys from head to head what is best for my hair might not be best for yours it is just trial and error to find the best one but like you said avoid fructis, pantene and head and shoulders as the first two leavea coating on the hair and the last one is so strong we actually wond it round a roller and used it as perm solution while i was training to be a stylist and it worked
If in doubt spend a few Bob on soaps etc.....

The cheap crap does your hair/skin no good whatsoever.

Molton Brown do some good products try them
Fructis should be called F*uctis, I've never put anything worse on my hair apart from paint.

Which is best depends on your hair, the water in your area and what you want it to do. The bottom line is, you shouldn't stick to any one product, they all leave something behind over time. You need to change your shampoo and conditioner occasionally.

That 'Aussie instant' stuff does a good job.
I have always used head and shoulders and have for years, I have no problems with mine............in fact people always compliment me on the shine on it............
Paul Mitchell Shampoo One for cleansing well.

Tigi Catwalk Honey %26amp; Oatmeal when it needs a bit more moisture and softness.

I have tried so many products and found that my hair always does best with quality products - not the drugstore stuff.
Head and shoulder shampoo and conditioner is the best! I get compliments from girls all the time how nice and soft my hair is. Maybe it will work for you too...and that thing, that it coats the hair is not true, if you rinse your hair and scalp thoroughly (it actually says on the instructions) you should have beautiful hair like me! =)

Hope I helped, good luck! =)
I personally love the herbal essences collection of shampoos and conditioners. Not only do they smell good, but they seem to not damage my hair that much..

however, herbal essences products have an alcohol substance in them, which actually damages your hair! therefore, it's not really the best.

Garnier fructis is really nice and very gentle on your hair.

After using this one instead of the herbal essences kind, I 'm sticking with it!!

    x

    good luck in choosing! lol.
I think it all depends on the individual taste - i find pantene %26amp; Herbal essence very heavily perfumed.

I use Vosene on the children's hair, and I use Avon's advance techniques shampoo %26amp; conditioner. My hairdresser has never commented on my hair being in a bad shape etc.
herbal essences as garnier is creamy and leaves a residue on your hair which can make it greasy. this is for my hair mind you not sure about anyone elses LOL!
I have really dry and coarse hair and I have tried every shampoo and conditioner on the market literally. Best I have used is Mark Hills range found in Boots stores. Its a little more expensive than most but it leaves hair so soft.

For a cheaper alternative, I used the pink Elvive products.
i use herbel essences all of them smell good and u can get them at a low prices they have hair spray and jells that wont hurt your hair!
i love herbal essences!! it makes my hair all shiny and soft, espically the blue one!!

but i love the aussie range,it smells so good and it's better than herbal, but i can't get it where i live!!! so i don't use it that often!!!!
I use Herbal Essences and my hair is super healthy.

I use the Hello Hydration kind and I love it.

    I would recommend very highly.

lee stafford - poker straight. i have really straight hair to begin with but a few of my friends with curly hair say its really good and even if it doesn't completely straighten your hair it makes it easier to straighten so you won't be doing your hair too much damage. they have tons of styling products too. but i think this is just in the uk. are you from uk or usa? well anyway here's a link: http://www.boots.com/guidedsearch/newsea鈥?/a>

What the best shampoo brand for extremely fuzzy, curly hair?

I have terrible fuzzy hair and have not been able to find a shampoo that will help. Any suggestions? What the best shampoo brand for extremely fuzzy, curly hair?
Well first off, avoid any cheap shampoos/conditioners becuse they contain a lot of alcohol and sulfate, which are cheap fillers, and cause drying and frizz. Try the Paul Mitchell smoothing line, or the CHI shampoo/treament (conditioner). What the best shampoo brand for extremely fuzzy, curly hair?
Curly hair tends to be drier than straight hair so what you need to concentrate on is moisturizing. Most shampoos have detergents in them that strip the natural oils out of your hair and and make it dry and frizzy. A good solution is to only shampoo your hair once a week or whenever you think it feels dirty. When you take a shower, get your hair wet, then apply conditioner and let it sit for awhile. Rinse it out gently- don't pull or scrub your hair. Towel dry it gently as well- don't stretch it or wring it out. Apply some gel or whatever styling product you use and let your hair go into it's natural curling pattern. If you try to fight the curls, they will break up and you will get frizz. Never brush curly hair, or you will have a huge mess!

I've been doing this method for several years and my hair is so much healthier and shinier. I get compliments on my curls all the time. When I do shampoo my hair, I use a small amount and I only use it on my scalp and my roots to take care of styling product build-up.
You can try herbal essences; I use it and it works great! It smells good too. :)

    http://www.herbalessences.com/us/

    Good luck!
garnier fructis. you can pick you the kind you want.
I will suggest the John Frieda collection. Not only does it straighten hair , but it gives it a glassy shine. Also it is not greasy
    doo grow...detangling shampoo

it works wonders and it makes your hair nice and straight when u blow dry it

Best shampoo to use for hair which is straightened in a parlour?

I straightened my hair few months back and I have been using a shampoo which is specially for straight hair. It is called Wella. I am not able to find that brand in the place I live in. Is there any other shampoo that I can use for my straightened hair? Thanks in advance.Best shampoo to use for hair which is straightened in a parlour?
best shampoo depend on the types of hair.for my experience.those people with strong hair, curly or calling them Africa types, shompoo like elvive both shompo and condition act as ant_breakage,Herbal Essences both shompoo/condition,Sunsilk hompoo/condition.but the most imp thing is to study what kind of hair do you have.in this i mean oily, dry.etc

and if all this did not work for you use herbal this, like Henna mixing with oil, honey, egg and black seed .this help to treat your hair since your on straightner.hope it will help

I have tried just about everything under the Sun (I'm 32, and blessed (or cursed) with naturally curly hair.

I now am in love with the Suave Professionals Sleek line (modeled after Matrix's sleek line).

I have tried Infusium 23 before, but I wasn't thrilled with it....the leave-in conditioner is watery and stained my robe and towels.
I like it.. but I like Paul Mitchell and Pantene better.
pantene makes hair soft, silky and sleek :DD

Best shampoo to get rid of frizz and enhance my natural waves?

I'm not really looking for a single person's opinion, but does any professional know? Or has a magazine named one or something?

Oh, and I was going to ask my hairdresser next time I went, but i'm worried she'll just suggest whatever they sell, and no necessarily the best product. Am I right to believe this?Best shampoo to get rid of frizz and enhance my natural waves?
I just bought the new Sally Hershberger line for wavy hair from Walgreens (it's the only place to get it right now). My friend is a beauty editor at a fashion magazine and she recommended it to me months ago when they first got the samples.

I LOVE IT! It totally accentuates the waves and it is super easy. There is a shampoo, a conditioner, and a styling primer. I used a little serum after that and my hair was pretty much frizz free (which it never is when I just let it go and be wavy). I would definitely recommend it.Best shampoo to get rid of frizz and enhance my natural waves?
    .
Okay, this will sound weird, but I previously worked for Athena's Home Novelties (adult toys). They sell a very rich, thick shave cream; its called Coochie Shave Cream. (No red bumps, rash, blah blah) but they also say it works great for taming frizzy hair. I've heard it works good! Not cheap but hey, you'll get 2 uses for one price! Check out the website, google Athena's home novelties.. Good luck

What is the best shampoo to stop hair brakage?

I have bad hair brakeage, I get my hair everwhere. Is there any good shampoos to help stop the brakage? What is the best shampoo to stop hair brakage?
Shampoos will not stop breakage. They will clean your hair. First and foremost you must begin taking a multi vitamin and biotin supplment 2 times a day and driking 32 ounces of water a day. This will help stop the breakage from the inside. Dry and damaged hair comes from overprocessing and lack of conditoning. You need to deep conditon your hair EVERY week using a mixure of olive oil, mayo, and eggs. PROTEIN helps make your hair stronger! You should also do a weekly hot oil treatment with pure jojoba oil and/or avacado oil (purchase from vitaminne shoppe, vitamin world, and/or GNC). Wash your hair only 2 times a week as this will help preserve your own natural oils (sebum). If you want to get a good cheap shampoo and conditioner I would try Garneir Fructis. Althoughh the vitamin shoppe sells jojoba shampoo and conditioner for about 3 bucks a bottle. It's natural and great for your hair. Aubry Organics also makes great shampoos and conditoners that can also be purchased there but they are more pricey! Good LuckWhat is the best shampoo to stop hair brakage?
Pantene might be a good solution.
A certain amount of breakage and loss is normal but stop these things for a while to see if it helps and make sure you have a healthy diet and ask someone at the salon for the appropriate shampoo, conditioner, and treatments such as the old Malibu treatment.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for use with hard water?

We have well water. It's very hard with a lot of iron and other minerals. We can't afford a filter. When I am not at home and wash my hair with soft water it becomes less brittle and takes a curl better. Unfortunately, I'm home most of the time. What is the best solution for this by way of shampoos and conditioners that work well with hard water. Any other tips and advice are also appreciated.

Be specific and it will help if those giving advice also have hard water. What is the best shampoo and conditioner for use with hard water?
When I was living in a house with well water I used Dove shampoo and Conditioner, and my hair felt very soft and shiny. It's also very reasonably priced. What is the best shampoo and conditioner for use with hard water?
squeeze a lttle lemon juice in your conditioner. the acid will neutralize the high PH of your water. What I recall from my chem class, the higher the PH the harder the water. that's what I do. My hair turns out very soft after it. Also, rain water makes hair soft. My hair by the way is asian, jet black, coarse and kinky.
Head and Shoulders works great you should try it I recommend it.

What is the best shampoo to grow your hair longer?

My hair is real short. I really want to grow it out before I'm an old lady but I'm really impatient. I need a shampoo that will grow my hair out pretty fast. I've looked on the web trying to find one and I've come out with squat. Help me please. What is the best shampoo to grow your hair longer?
There is no product that can make hair grow faster. Hair follicles are cells that push out protein (which is your hair). That process can't be sped up.

However, by eating a healthy diet and gently messaging your scalp when you wash our hair, you'll give your cells the best chance to remain healthy and pump out that protein! What is the best shampoo to grow your hair longer?
There realy isnt a shampoo to help grow hair faster..

    thanks for the help!

;)What is the best shampoo and conditioner at local drug stores?
I love Garnier Fructis! I use the shampoo for body and volume. I use the sleek and shine sheer conditioner for fine flyaway hair. I love the way it makes my hair look and feel. I wouldn't use anything else! You can get it at Walmart for under $3 a bottle. It's a little more at the drug store. What is the best shampoo and conditioner at local drug stores?
Garnier Fructis is good and it smells heavenly!
It depends on what type of hair you have. Like for example my mom's hair is only get shiny and voluminized after she uses head%26amp;sholders shampoo and conditiner and i can get volume and shine by using any type of shampoos and conditioners. So the answers above might be good for those people, but to see whic one is good for you you gotta try yourself hun!
I like Garnier Fructis, Suave and VO5
Aveeno has a really nice shampoo and conditioner...

definitely pantene is bad you need to use salon stuff it works alot better i think alagio, joico, and biolage are great
not sure about the pantene thing but its bad for hair to use 2 in 1's...

I don't know the best shampoo but its good to change brand of shampoo each time you fnish a bottle cause if you wash your hair in the same chemicals over %26amp; over its not treating the hair because the hair becomes so used to it so you need to change each brand every time you run out! it makes your hair shine when you change a shampoo after a while
i really love how garnier fructis smells, its the best in that catagory

What is the best shampoo for a natural blonde with natural highlites? Anyone have any ideas?

I am a natural blonde, and have natural multi-colored highlites. I am wondering if anyone knows of any innexpensive shampoos and conditioners which will bring out my highlites and keep my hair really soft and shiny. Any thoughts? I have tried both Suave 'Blonde' shampoo, and a little of Pantene's 'Blonde' shampoo. Are those good, of is there something much better? Please give me ideas. Thank you! %26lt;3What is the best shampoo for a natural blonde with natural highlites? Anyone have any ideas?
actually, basically all shampoos are the same. even if it says ';silk for blondes!'; it doesn't do anything differently. just buy regular shampooWhat is the best shampoo for a natural blonde with natural highlites? Anyone have any ideas?

What is the best shampoo for both straight and curly hair?

I have curly semi curly hair and straighten it often and sometimes I wear it curly depending on the weather. I dont want to have to buy two different kinds of shampoo and conditioners. What is the best shampoo products for both? What is the best shampoo for both straight and curly hair?
anything organic...never use the junk w/ chemicals in them:)What is the best shampoo for both straight and curly hair?
Because you straighten it and because you'll want sleek bouncy curls I'd go with a moisturizing shampoo. No need for two different shampoos or conditioners. So I'd suggest either Biolage or Kerastase. Biolage being the cheaper of the too. Biolage is sold at Target and other drug stores as well as beauty supply stores. Kerastase is sold mainly at hair salons. I have also seen it at Nordstrom Rack for alot cheaper.

    Hope this helps.

  • What is the best Shampoo for a ShitTzu puppy?

He is 6 months old? I'm trying to figure out the best way to clean his face....around his eyes and mouth. What are some tips that you may use to keep his face clean on a daily basis? What is the best Shampoo for a ShitTzu puppy?
Tropiclean products are great. They have a blueberry facial scrub that works wonders..Yes it's tear free..They even have a spa line a products..I use there products in my grooming salon it's a non soap based shampoo gentle and it's not drying to the dogs skin..Any one of there shampoo would be fine

www.tropiclean.netWhat is the best Shampoo for a ShitTzu puppy?
for daily cleaning around the face, try baby wipes, easy to use and easy on him. for bathing, again, keep it simple, add baby shampoo to the bath water (which should be cool water), make it a bubble bath, put him in, after he has been brushed, soak him down, gently rub, then rinse well. After the bath, spray him with a leave in conditioner, and blow dry, brushing the hair as you dry it.
you should not have to bathe your dog unless he has been rolling in animal feaces or dirt or has fleas etc. For washing his face just used boiled, cooled water and cotton wool pads. Use a pad for each eye to stop cross contamination. Johnsons do do an under eye lotion for dogs if he tends to get runny eyes.

If you really need to bathe him use a puppy shampoo that you can get from your pet store. Human shampoos can be harsh on the dogs coat.
We use generic BABY SHAMPOO on our cats and dogs. It does not irritate their skin if it's not all rinsed off. Sometime we put in a little fabric softener or hair conditioner too. We have a dog that likes to roll in dead things and horse manure and this treatment kills the smell without irritation. DO NOT pour the softener directly onto the animal. DILUTE about two teaspoons into a gallon of water and then put it on the animal before rinsing. Does wonders for their coats too.

What is the best shampoo for dry color treated blonde hair?

I have long blonde highlighted hair. I just want a good shampoo and conditioner that smells really good and makes your hair soft and shiney. What is the best shampoo for dry color treated blonde hair?
I would try the new L'Oreal EverPure line. They are 100% vegan, smell really good (like mint and other herbs like rosemary), and make your hair really soft (IMO). Also, since they don't have any chemicals in them, they won't fade your hair as fast. I know, I sound like a commercial, but I love the stuff! What is the best shampoo for dry color treated blonde hair?

What is the best shampoo for naturally curly hair that is also color treated?

I have naturally curly hair that I get colored every couple of months and I'm wondering if there is a good shampoo and conditioner out there made for both? I have found shampoo's made for curly hair and for color treated, but never for both combined. If not, which would be best to use? What is the best shampoo for naturally curly hair that is also color treated?
I also have naturally curly hair and color it regularly and so far Pantene has been the one to work. Most of the Pantene products work very well to smooth and protect color treated hair. There's one that specifies it smoothes but it's also safe for color treated. I usually use a flat iron to straighten mine and the products also protect from heat damage.

Hope this helps. What is the best shampoo for naturally curly hair that is also color treated?
No need to bother with all the brand name shampoos, they just don't work.

Just use Johnson%26amp;Johnson's Baby Shampoo... it'll decrease friziness and will have no negative effect on the color. This is mainly because the pH of the shampoo itself is rather neutral.
try garnier fruitise, works great......But not sure if i spelled it right....

What is the best shampoo to use to make your hair grow longer?

No matter what kind of shampoo I try my hair never grows! Can someone please help me?What is the best shampoo to use to make your hair grow longer?
The simple answer is that shampoo has nothing to do with IMPROVING hair growth, however the overuse of shampoo can damage your hair by removing the oils that make it supple.

When I say oils, I am not talking about leaving your hair oily - I am talking about the oils that are naturally in your hair strands that allow your hair to remain supple. Once those are stripped by shampoo overuse they don't tend to return to the hair strand. Without that natural oil, your hair can become quite fragile, and can break off at the ends with even simple brushing making it appear as if your hair is not growing.

If you want long hair, be prepared to take good care of your body. Eat well, sleep well, stay free of disease, and avoid the sun, or perming, coloring, blow-drying your hair, or dragging a brush through knots. Use a good quality conditioner every time you shampoo, and shampoo less frequently.

    The much longer answer:

There would be two reasons why your hair doesn't appear to be growing (besides having it cut!)

    1. Your hair is being snapped off at the ends when you are brushing it. (dry or brittle hair, or pulling through knots)

    2. Your hair is already quite long, and your hair follicles simply die and the hair strand drops out - which is a natural process, and can only be altered by becoming younger or augmenting your hormone production (menopause can affect hair growth).

You can't do much about the second reason, so I will focus on the first.

Hair is a protein. Overuse of shampoo, bleaches, perms, coloring, hairdryers, sun exposure, etc damage hair protein. Hair protein breaks down due to this damage, and the hair becomes brittle, so when you brush this brittle hair the tips of the hair literally shatter like glass, and fall away.

Your diet is also a factor. Illness is too. If your hair is quite long, and you got over a serious illness even some years ago, or you went through a period of not treating yourself well, the hair your body made at that time is still on your head, and is fragile. When it breaks off it can appear as if your hair is not growing. What is the best shampoo to use to make your hair grow longer?
the act of shampooing can help stimulate hair growth by massaging the scalp with your finger tips, making blood and nutrients move to the hair follicles
I agree Main and Tail is very good...but also you can take prenatal vitamins..
your hair can't grow from shampoos

all you need to do is be less stressful (if there is stress in your life) sleep more and be in the dark more then usual

What is the best shampoo out there ladies?

Looking for a great shampoo and conditioner to make my hair nice and pretty with no frizz. I just can't find something that I love. The price isn't an issue. What is the best shampoo out there ladies?
I have two loves. lol. For the frizz, try the Hairapy from Sunsilk, the Blue bottle! It's for hair that expands as it drys, so this keeps it down, then they have another kind (i think it's the yellow bottle) for frizz. maybe the blue for shampoo and the other for conditioner. Also! I have just discovered Dove for highlights, it's in a pink bottle. It smells amazing and it does wonders for my hair! :DWhat is the best shampoo out there ladies?
I will save you and tell you sunsilk is awful. worse than 99 cent v05

dove is alright but it made my hair so fly-away it was impossible to manage. Report Abuse

I like Aussie's cleanse and mend or Paul Mitchell's smoothing.
Tresemme conditioner is amazing. Smells great and leaves hair silky smooth.
the john frieda products work consistently best for me, the shampoo/conditioner as well as leave ins and products. one thing that is really helpful too is not to wash it too much (especially curly hair) and vary your shampoos -- don't use the same one everytime. Another line that I mix in that is actually quite expensive and only available at the salon is pureology.
Aveeda will be the best to combat frizz. Also bedhead is nice but it does not combat frizz as well as aveeda. If you want something to combat frizz when you don't have a good shampoo and conditioner use some silk elements glossing polish after you shampoo and condition on dry hair. This can be found in sally beauty supply or maybe other beauty supply stores.Aveeda is available on line usually on ebay or in salons.
I always go back to John Frieda Sheer Blonde line. Both the shampoo and conditioners are great. I have found that leaving conditioner on for 5 minutes before rinsing makes a huge difference.

Another conditioner that I LOVE is Frederik Fekkai Glossing Conditioner. It is green and has olive oil in it. And I love the smell! It's a bit pricey so I only use it once a week.

The BEST conditioner is called Ojon Hair Restoration Treatment. This is something you leave in for an hour or more, then rinse out. I highlighted my hair and it turned to straw. This stuff saved it! So soft and shiny. And even a few weeks after using it, my hair still looks great. It comes in a little brown jar and costs about $25 but it is so worth it! Plus a jar lasts a long time because a little goes a long way.

I highly recommend the Ojon! You can get it at sephora, drugstore.com and ojon.com.

    Hope all this helps you!
I almost always go with either tresemme, or biolage...both are very good and have wonderful smells.
I currently use Aussie. I usually switch up my shampoo/conditioner often to experiment, but I actually bought this one more than once back to back instead of moving on. So far this one, to me, smelled the best and worked great. I have used Herbal essences, tresumee, Pantine, and garnier nutriesse (this one made my hair greasy, but I have oily hair but since I dyed my hair, I figured it might work better since after dying hair it needs moisture) Aussie has its own hair line and all the products smell great. I don't know if it'll do anything for frizz though, you might just have to buy a seprate product like a cream or serium.
    pantene

it works 4 me...i have curly hair
    Infusium 23 is good.
I personally like Biolage. It smells so good and for some reason any time I use it my hair is so easy to manage or fix. It comes in all different kinds for different hair types. Try it. It is not that expensive either. Sometime you can find shampoo and conditioner for $19.99
    Aussie!! Smells lush too!
i use aveda, pantene and tresseme oh la la. lol

they all are good, i use the moisturizing and/or color treated ones since my hair is colored.
Have you tried Paul Mitchell yet? He has shampoo and conditioner called super skinny. It promises to tame unruly hair and make it smooth and shiny. I love Paul Mitchell products. They are my favorite.
    Hi..

I use Pantene Pro V for curly hair..It makes my hair nice and shiny..and gets rid of the frizz..

I use Herbal Essences 'Hello Hydration', and my hair has been tangle-free and smooth since then. :) Redken and John Frieda and Pantene and Garnier Fructis are great too. ^-^What is the best shampoo and conditioner so I can have a smooth and tangle-free hair?

Head and Shoulders made my hair greasy when I used it. I use Neutrogena Daily Control Dandruff Shampoo, and that works much better. I have also been having a dandruff problem for about a week, so what's the best anti-dandruff shampoo? What is the best shampoo to use regularly?
well pert plus is always a favorite of mineWhat is the best shampoo to use regularly?
The best shampoo to use regularly is the one the your hair stylist or barber recommends for you hair. This is something you should ask the person that takes care of your hair.
i have used sauve for years..i love it and they have a dandruff product also.
Head and Shoulders helps moisturize your scalp and eliminates 100% of dandruff
Keto.....u can get it in a drug strore, about 5 dollor it comes in a small bottle but it really work, and you can use it every other day...
Try a anti-dandruff version of Garnier Fructis, that stuff works good. I'm sure there's one available.
Paul Mitchell makes some great products. Their Tea Tree shampoo is great for dandruff. Talk to a professinal stylist, they can recomend the right products for your hair type.
aussie mega they leave no build up so can be used twice a day if needed
I have always used Aveda products and they have a product for most everyones type of hair. Shampure is a good everyday shampoo W/ rosemary mint for a conditioning after the shampoo. You could check it out at aveda.com. Hope this has helped.
It is not good to use any shampoo regularly. You should switch every couple of months. It depends on what kind of hair you have depending on what shampoos are better for you. Using the wrong kind, could be why you have dandruff. Try changing shampoos and if that does not work. Try Head and Shoulders.
Aveda's Scalp Benefits shampoo %26amp; conditioner will help to balance the oils from your scalp to the hair and keep it nice. DO NOT use a ';dandruff'; shampoo as they dry the scalp to keep the dandruff away and your body in turn says ';scalp is dry, make more oil'; and thus starts the vicious cycle so many people are stuck in. Also, you do not want to wash your hair more than once a day, rinsing is fine if needed, but not shampooing for the same reasons as above.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for my colored hair?

My hair is naturally brown, but I have it dyed black, with a red streak and my bangs are also red.

I'm wondering what is the best Shampoo and Conditioner for what I'm aiming for, which is:

    %26gt; EXTREMELY soft hair

%26gt; My colors to stay vibrant looking

Basically I am more concerned about getting products that don't strip out my color. Soft hair is also important to me. Any help is appreciated. What is the best shampoo and conditioner for my colored hair?
Red is the most difficult color to keep in the hair. you're in luck though because the rest of your hair is black..which means you can use a colored conditioner. I like Aveda. They have products that keep the integrity of your hair with certified organic ingredients. Use the Color Conserve Shampoo and Conditioner for regular use. As a once a week treatment...use the Color Conserve Strenghtening Treatment to keep it softer, stronger and healthier. Now...Aveda makes ';Personal Blends'; products. You get to choose your aroma out of 12 different options and they will mix your appropriate color red into the bottle to maintain that tone in between your touch ups. I used to be a redhead and it kept my color from fading. Because the rest of your hair is black...it won't matter if there's red color in your conditioner as it won't black can't be colored without bleach anyway. What is the best shampoo and conditioner for my colored hair?
I've been dying my hair various colors for about 8 years, and the best thing I've discovered is washing/rinsing your hair with cold water. I KNOW it makes for quite the annoying shower experience, but it makes a huge difference. You could use a shower cap to keep your hair protected from the heat during the rest of your shower. Also, since heat strips moisture, when you go to rinse the shampoo or conditioner out of your hair with the cold water, it always feels smooth and sleek! My fave salon shampoo conditioner is LOGICS color nourishing, and it smells great!

    Either way, I would definitely recommend a color-protecting shampoo/conditioner from a salon.

My red highlights are still vibrant and I got them 3 months ago!

What is the best shampoo for puppies with white coats?

My puppy keeps laying in her urine when she's in the cage and it's starting to stain her coat. She's too pretty and I want to keep her white and not yellow. Im in Michigan. What is the best shampoo for puppies with white coats?
Earth bath is the best out there. Its a little spendy, but works great and is all natural. You may consider getting her the puppy kind if she is very young, but they also have a bright white type that makes a white dog brighter in color. You will also use less shampoo with this brand because a little goes a long ways. I buy mine at the grange, I live in Oregon so I don't know if they have one of those there. I am sure a local pet store carries it but the grange is the cheapest place if you have one in your area.

Here is the website to earth bath. It really works great!

Unfortunately, you can't undo damage, but you can treat your hair and let it breathe (i.e. minimize heat styling, hair dying).

I would say that all depends on what type of hair, and what nationality. All haircare products don't work for all people. Ask around, do some research, ask family and friends, go to a hair stylist and talk to them.

Pantene shampoos damage your hair. But for some reason the Pantene restoration which comes in a jar REALLY WORKS.

I use Nexxus products for my hair, and its the best its ever been.
I love Aussie products. I've never used it, but they have a cleanse and mend shampoo and conditioner. They also have a 3 minute miracle deep conditioner that i use everyday and it really helped repair my hair. I highly reccomend it. It's the one in the upside down purple bottle.

Head and shoulders to start. It keeps your hair shiny and healthy. You can use a seperate conditioner. I find the ones that add more volume and shine/prevent breakage conditioner labels work. That is what I use in the beginning. If your hair is looking great for a couple of days and appears oily the next, I don't recommend using suave products or the cheap stuff. That is the problem I found. Also, if you use the same shampoo and conditioner over and over, eventually it will not work on your hair anymore. I find changing them up helps keep hair from appearing damaged. My hair artist recommended the change up. Using Ion products such as hair dryers or Ion hair brushes help.
PANTENE, and paul Mitchell products, just goggle them.

What is the best shampoo for really thin hair?

I have really thin, flat, damaged hair (split ends), and I want hair that is thick, volumized, and healthy. Do you know a great shampoo and conditioner for my hair? Any tips? Thanks! What is the best shampoo for really thin hair?
I am a hair stylist and have worked with many different people who have similar problems to you so I hope I can help you out! :)

My first suggestion is in relation to your split ends. The only way you can truly deal with them is to have your hair cut. You may only need a 1/2 inch to an inch taken off to really notice a difference. Once these have been taken away, your hair will already start to feel and look more balanced. Sometimes damaged ends can slightly weight the hair down and more so give the impression of a bigger volume at the bottom, due to the splits, which can make the roots look flatter than they are.

The next tip I can give is to use a shampoo and conditioner that is mainly for every day use, and has a sway toward more nautral products in it, for eg chamomile or plant extracts, as these tend to be lighter in consistency and also won't weigh the hair down. If you tend to use more creamy shampoo's and conditioner's, they tend to have by-products in them that give the hair weight, thus flattening the hair strands and giving a shiny appearance but also a heavier feel and look, so my advise for your hair type would be to transfer to lighter solutions. I would suggest using conditioner every other wash, as this can have a dramatic effect on weighing the hair down more than it needs. It shouldn't make any difference to the overall condition of your hair if you have your ends cut and keep them regularly trimmed :) You should notice the real difference after the first trim and about four shampoo's in.

Also, as one of the other answerers said, a beer rinse, or an egg white rinse, are very effective ways of boosting body in to limper hair.

For the egg white rinse, separate 3 large eggs from their whites and yolks, discard the yolks then mix the egg whites with enough water to make it pourable. Pour over hair. As you pour, do it gently enough so that you can work the rinse in to the scalp. Concentrate on this more than lengths and ends, as it will get to the root, haha, of the problem, sorry for the pun. Leave for 2 mintues, then rinse out with lukewarm, tepid water. Don't make the mistake of using warmish or even hot water, as you will develop a meringuy souffle on your scalp! lol :)

For the beer rinse, before you shampoo, grab a can of beer and pour in to a glass or big cup.. allow this to go flat and warm before you progress to the next step.

Shampoo you hair and rinse as usual, then grab yourself the flat beer and pour gently over your hair, again concentrating on the scalp more than anything else, work it in to the roots with your fingers, as this will boost the roots in to life, and may get them tipsy and therefore happier, lol.. joking of course. My hair styling jokes get more groans than giggles, ha. When you are done, rinse with cool water until the odour has gone and you should have a little more bounce going on :)

I would recommend using the homemade rinses alternately twice a month. The beer rinse one week, then the egg rinse two weeks after and so on.

If you use styling products like mousse, gel etc and apply directly on wet hair, allow the hair to dry out a little first, maybe by lightly towel drying, then apply the products. I say this as the product will be too dissolved to be of use when the hair is sopping wet, and therefore you will need to use more, which will weight the hair down. By leaving the hair to dry a little first, you will use less than before and keep the bounce you will be starting to develop :)

So, I think that is all, haha. I wish you the best of luck and many great hair days. What is the best shampoo for really thin hair?
You're so welcome :) I really do hope it does the trick for you, and I wish you much luck on your quest for bouncier hair! All the best x Report Abuse

If your hair is damaged, you have to go to a beautician and have her remove it.

You can them maintain the hair using Garnier or Pantene. Keep in mind that nothing will fix your hair outside of a beautician.
Nick Chavez hair products are the best.
Trim off the ends and try Pantene Full %26amp; Thick shampoo or Sunsilk for flat hair....it's in a goldish yellow bottle. Keep the ends clipped off until all the damaged hair has grown out. If your hair is think, it won't ever be thick. Let it air dry if possible. Don't use curling iron if you don't have to. Good luck.
